Raoul Pal for the first time in a while has done a livestream where he breaks down WHY he thinks his Bitcoin & Ethereum price prediction has broken down this month and what factors he thinks are at play.
For those not following Raoul’s breakdown, Raoul was tracking Ethereum vs the Bitcoin 2017 Price and Bitcoin versus the Bitcoin 2013 Price all based off relative wallet addresses and adoption.
For the last 18 months is has tracked extremely accurately however this month it has begun to sharply deviate. Just today, Raoul breaks down what is going on in the market and why investors should look to January for the fireworks.

Amazing content, very useful, keep up the great work,I believe that the inflation is already priced in crypto market since the end of last year. These manipulative rats are always 2 steps ahead of everybody because they are market makers. I hope I’m wrong and they won’t keep dumping it on retail investors as always. If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream may be lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind. just remember where it's going and don't be put off by short term fluctuations and don't facilitate this dream into becoming a nightmare .The coin-base thing will undoubtedly be replaced by another incident but it will always correct to higher until it's mooned naturally. Don't give up on it and start day trading it, it will take too much time and concentration. Remember Eth is probably bitcoin part 2. It is quite unfortunate that the most popular word lately amongst crypto enthusiasts and traders alike is “hodl.” This concept of “holding on for dear life” in itself may not be a bad idea but why hold on to an investment instrument which could make you some money, or make you very miserable tomorrow? Making a good profit off crypto is easy if and only if you can find the right entry point and exit point in your day trading. I had to keep digging. His theories sounded too stupid to actually be held by a respected investor—but they are.
He’s the definition of the broken clock. For years—decades—he’s been making incredibly bad predictions. He called crashes in 2011 (this article, 2015 (2015 crash, and several other calls that were totally wrong. Articles refer to him as they man who predicted the dollar rally’ or something complete bull badge of honor.
He’s also adamant that bonds are better than equities (how?) and just today said that bitcoin will be worth $1 million by next year then dumps the entire lot (he was 100% all in ) hes betting his life on it and screaming it from the rooftops the wait for it ….. dumps the lot for etherium ????
He says we’re going into a depression now and suggested that the market won’t recover for at least a decade. He’s once again calling a crash of 1929 proportions.
I keep seeing him as a guest or featured on prominent podcasts and articles, and yet what he’s saying makes absolutely no sense and he’s constantly wrong to the point of lunacy.
Can someone please help me understand why this person is respected at all? What am I missing here?
