Repeat rows 1 and 2 for a total of 10 (12, 14) rows.

Knit across the heel stitches and pick up and knit 12 (14, 16) stitches along the side of the heel. Place a marker to indicate the beginning of the round. Knit even in stockinette stitch until foot measures 3 inches from the heel.

K2tog around. (12 (14, 16) stitches remaining)
Next round: K around.
Repeat these 2 rounds until 4 (4, 6) stitches remain. Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Thread tail through remaining stitches and pull tight to close the toe. Weave in ends.
